America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women 2025 Methodology Overview

America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women 2025 honors top U.S. companies that have demonstrated exceptional performance and support for their female employees.

The evaluation process combined publicly accessible data with insights from HR professionals and extensive confidential surveys conducted among women employed at U.S.-based organizations. The analysis drew on over 2.2 million company reviews and feedback from more than 215,000 employee interviews.

Employers were assessed on a broad range of criteria, including their commitment to workforce diversity, sustainability practices, compensation and benefits, career development opportunities, work-life balance, workplace environment, company reputation, and corporate culture.

In collaboration with third-party data provider Aniline, Plant-A examined more than 120 key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide a comprehensive view of workplace excellence. These KPIs covered leadership, integrity, compensation, advancement, culture, belonging, and balance between work and life.

Companies with recent histories of legal issues, workplace misconduct, or reputational risks were excluded from consideration. To ensure credibility, Plant-A leveraged Onclusive’s media monitoring platform Critical Mention to identify and filter out such cases.
