America’s Best Loyalty & Rewards Programs 2026 Methodology Overview

America’s Best Loyalty & Rewards Programs 2026 is a consumer sentiment study that recognizes the best loyalty and rewards programs in the United States based on customer perspectives. The study is based on a large-scale consumer survey conducted among U.S. customers.

More than 2,000 loyalty and rewards programs in the U.S were considered in an initial review. Of these, more than 1,500 loyalty and rewards programs were selected for an in-depth evaluation in a nationwide survey based on their consumer relevance.

The nationwide survey interviewed more than 19,000 respondents through multiple online access panels between September 2025 and October 2025. They evaluated their experience with loyalty and reward programs they used within the past three years based on five categorical dimensions of customer satisfaction, which include ease of enrollment, ease-of-use, and reward value. Companies involved in consumer data protection incidents and other allegations within the past two years were excluded from the final rankings using the Critical Mention media monitoring platform from Onclusive.

Using a proprietary scoring model, an overall score was calculated for each loyalty and rewards program, considering all relevant questionnaire items and categories. The 350 highest-scoring loyalty and rewards programs were recognized by Plant-A Insights and USA TODAY as America’s Best Loyalty & Rewards Programs 2026.

The exclusion of a loyalty or rewards program from this list is not a reflection of its performance and is not disputed.
