America’s High Growth Companies 2026 recognizes companies that have demonstrated successful growth over time, proving their ability to consistently expand without compromising their overall financial health.
The study is based on an extensive assessment of financial records for over 3,000 U.S. publicly listed companies on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Nasdaq. To ensure a minimum threshold for data availability and consistency, only companies that have been public since 2020 and achieved both a minimum revenue of $100 million and profitability in fiscal year 2025 were considered.
Each company was evaluated across four key pillars of financial performance: Financial Performance, Profitability Growth, Investor Value, and Stability. These four pillars, comprising 11 distinct metrics, measured the ability of a company to achieve sustained growth, increase shareholder value, and maintain overall financial stability.
The media monitoring platform Critical Mention by Onclusive was utilized to identify whether companies were implicated in corporate wrongdoing between May 1, 2024 and May 1, 2026. Business Insider and Plant-A Insights conducted multiple iterations of the media monitoring process to validate all exclusions and ensure the accuracy of the results.
An overall score for each company was calculated using a proprietary scoring model. The 500 highest-scoring companies were recognized by Business Insider and Plant-A Insights as America’s High Growth Companies 2026.

Placement in the Rankings (defined below) is a positive recognition based on research of publicly available data sources from the time period in question.
